A 4-0 away win against Harvesters West made it 7 wins out of 7 in cup competitions this season and saw us safely into the 3rd round of the challenge cup.

It is fair to say that we dominated todays game form start to finish and whilst it could be argues that we could and should have picked up more goals than we did, the fact is that the result was never really in doubt.

After coming close as a team a couple of times, it was James that opened the scoring in the opening 10 minutes finishing very calmly after a well weighted cross field ball from Alex put him through and one on one with the keeper.

Adam picked up our second goal, after another very solid performance in mid-field, and Dillan hit our 3rd, just before the break after good work by Ben and then Sammy down the left hand-side.

The second half did not yield as many goals, but the performance was very similar with Alex hitting the only goal of the half after a great ball over the top from Luke.

As with last week’s win, there were solid performances all over the pitch with many of the boys rotating through both defence and mid-field and delivering equally good performance in both positions.

With no recognised goalkeeper in today’s squad, well done to Buddy. Ollie and James, who all took turns in goal and who all gave us very little to worry about with their performances.

Man of the match today was awarded to Dillan for carrying his mid-week form in training into the match today.
