u10 Red’s

The first game of the season saw the Edgware Town u10 Reds play an away fixture against Colney Heath FC.
Every player made an effort to man mark and dispossess the opposition when required, and the passing around the midfield was magical at times.
Defence was rock solid, with the exception of one well saved shot, Dylan/Josh and Elliot made light work for our goalkeeper Brayden Fifer.
The first half saw us 2 goals up courtesy of Jack Skinner, with assists by George Wainright and Oli Bloom.
The second half was a carbon copy of the first. All boys played their hearts out and continued to pass with such maturity and skill. Numerous well-rehearsed corners were driven into the box by Luis Rosenberg, which unfortunately we failed to capitalise from today.
Brayden Fifer made a sensational save, which was then followed by a goal fest with another 2 goals from Jack and a well-deserved goal by Oli Bloom (1).
The final score was a 5-2 WIN. Man of the match this week goes to Oli Bloom for has continuous link up play with strike partner Jack and his overall effort in and around the box.
