Match Reports for 17th April 2016

Under 9’s. Had a very enjoyable afternoon against Northwood Reds. Stand in manager did well with the current payers. Well done by all.

Under 10 Blue also played a Northwood team. Slow out of the blocks, but overall a pleasing performance. Some slick passing around a physical side. Goals from Jack and Sam, who was outstanding. Good work rate from Freddie, who took up a new role in Centre Mid. Boys are really coming on.

Under 10’s Red played Whetstone Tigers. Again after a slow start the wares took control of the game. Some excellent passing moves, with a great goal starting from the GK who passed it to the left back Sol, passed it down the wing to Jake, who skipped past his marker, played a one, two with Dylan then found Daniel in the middle who volleyed home. Jake was Man of the Match, after scoring 3 goals. Good display all round.

Under 13’s beat Edmonton Rangers to book a place in the final of the Spring Cup. Dominating the 1st half, creating numerous chances, but only scoring 1. The 2nd Half started and it was 1 all after a minute. A lot tighter this half, and if being honest our opponents had the better of it. Then a corneer to the greens, was put away after a fine header. Good performances from Udo and Judah up top, with man of the match Luke in Midfield. Tomi at the back also performed well.

Aldenham Panthers u15’s beat Mill Hill Village Youth 9-3. 6 more goals for Farzan and 3 for Jack. Some good passing from Oli and Josh to out play our opponents. The defence was a little sloppy at times, after conceding 3, but the team are still in with a chance for promotion with 2 games still to go.

Aldenham Tigers U15’s played a friendly on saturday, against St Josephs of the Harrow League. 6-1 win, with FArzan getting 3 while guesting from the Panthers side. 3 trialsit also did well. A good day all round.
